Regular price ¥1,183.82This is an excellent example of traditional craftsmanship by a potter who has continued to produce pottery for many years in Tokoname and Kutani, two pottery producing areas that have continued to preserve tradition.
The kyusu is made of red clay and is made with the concept of being simple, light, and easy to use.
We skillfully combine various techniques such as blue grain, red grain, gold leaf, silver leaf, and transfer painting.
The painting is done in consideration of the balance with the shape of the kyusu.

Tokoname: One of Japan's six oldest kilns, a town of pottery steeped in history. Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, is located on the west coast of the Chita Peninsula facing Ise Bay. It is the gateway to the Chubu International Airport (Centrair), and has a long, narrow topography of 6km east to west and 16km north to south. Tokoname is known as a city of pottery throughout the country. Tokoname pottery, which has a history of 1,000 years, is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan.

Import Taxes & Customs Duty
Customers may be required to pay customs duty when buying products from foreign countries. We do not have any control or responsibility regarding customs duty. In case the parcel was returned(or discarded) by the customs office(or the carrier) because the customers did not cover the duty, the order shall be deemed to have the customer's approval of cancellation.
The aforementioned costs include sales tax in the country of receipt (applied to the total value of the order), duties on the cost of products (around 6% for the European Union) and any other fees applied by the shipping provider.
DHL typically sends an invoice a few days after delivery. EMS (JP Post) generally charges the required sum at the time of delivery.
Regarding ‘Airmail Small Packet’: you will generally be billed by your national carrier when applicable.
